Do I Really Need a Realtor?

No.  If your house can sell itself just by putting a sign in the yard, and you are sophisticated enough to know the proper contracts to use and legal disclosure items, willing to advertise, willing to show your property, willing to deal with the no shows and usually willing to offer the buyer’s agent the commission, then no.

Can I Sell the Home Myself?

You can but why would you? Did you know that most For Sale by Owners (FSBO), 70% eventually wind up using a real estate broker. Also, in order to sell the home most For Sale by Owners pay a cooperating broker fee (typically 3%) and do not get to list the home in the Multiple Listing Service where thousands of agents are working with potential buyers.
